Signups -- Stats « WordPress.com.

Maks me wonder what happened to cause that spike around the 10th of November.  That's a big jump. From approximately 20,000 to approximatel 65,000 for one day. O_o  Perhaps an over-zealous spam bot managed to break through their systems...  but still, a difference of 45,000 accounts? I'll be there's a great story behind that.  I'd save the image and host it here so it would keep a month had passed since that day, but the stats display is in Flash, and - quite honestly - I don't feel like tracking down how to generate the image in a saveble format.  I'm sending an email to WordPress to see if they care to guess about it *shrug*. I'm honestly just curious, myself.
